We are activity recruiting technicians, graduate students and postdocs.

Mentoring philosophy:

Members of the lab are trained to become independent scientists. They are provided guidance to independently develop their own research trajectory. Guidance is provided about rigorous experimental design and how to interpret data.

Trainees are encouraged to write and submit manuscripts, present at conferences and apply for fellowships. Almost all trainees in the lab have been awarded NIH or foundation awards. All trainees have first author publications.

Trainees gain access to national and international collaborations and networking opportunities in Neurodegeneration across academia, industry and foundations.

Biomarker and translational approaches

Collaborations with neuroinflammation

Collaborations with electrophysiology
